“I have a lot of theories tho,” Buffy wrote. To which Arquette responded, “Tell me them so I can lie to you.” (#Savage)
Severance originally premiered on Apple TV+ back in February 2022, and it immediately gained a large following due to its mind-mending plot that’s fascinating, terrifying and highly addictive.
The series follows Mark (Adam Scott), an employee who voluntarily underwent a procedure known as ‘severance.’ This brain surgery allows someone to completely disconnect their personal lives from their work lives. This means that at work, you have no idea what happens when you leave, and at home, you have no idea what happens when you go to work.
In addition to Scott, Severance stars Britt Lower (Helly Riggs), Zach Cherry (Dylan George), Tramell Tillman (Seth Milchick), John Turturro (Irving Bailiff), Christopher Walken (Burt Goodman), Dichen Lachman (Ms. Casey), Michael Chernus (Ricken Hale) and Jen Tullock (Devon Scout-Hale).
Season two also features several newcomers, including Alia Shawkat, Gwendoline Christie, Merritt Wever, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, John Noble, Robby Benson and Bob Balaban.
Guess I’ll have to tune into episode eight to find out what happens next.
