Lindsay Lohan, better known as everyone's favorite rom-com queen, has some sage advice for moms about navigating parenthood.

The 38-year-old actress, who shares an 11-month-old son, Luai, with her husband, Bader Shammas, sat down with me to discuss her partnership with Pure Leaf Tea and the biggest lessons she learned after becoming a mother.

The Freaky Friday star first opened up about her strength and motherly instincts, noting that it's been a "beautiful experience." She said, "I've learned how strong women truly are. I think, when you become a mom, you're like, 'Oh my God, I just gave life to another human, and now I'm feeding this human, and I'm doing everything for this human, and I'm still taking care of me, and I'm working, and I can do this and I can be a great wife. Anything is possible if I just take the time to appreciate that and appreciate myself."

Lohan also talked about being thankful for the journey. She added, "I've learned to live with so much gratitude because it's such a beautiful experience. And I just feel so grateful for it, to become a mom and have a child. I've learned how important gratitude is, and how strong I am."

Though Lohan is juggling her responsibilities like a pro, the actress acknowledged that it can be challenging to take a break as a working mom. Still, she advises parents to prioritize taking a breather. Lohan said, "I understand that it's hard because we want to be superheroes as moms, and we think we can carry so many things. I've noticed, like becoming a mom, I think I can just carry everything in my hand, and it's okay to just ask for help and then take a minute for yourself, because time's moving, but you're not going to lose any time in the process of just taking a second. You know, nothing's going anywhere."

She continued, "You need to be the best version of yourself you can be for the people you love in your life, especially your little ones. It's good to keep reminding ourselves and everyone else around us that we're gonna do that. We're gonna take a minute."

Speaking of taking a minute, Lohan has teamed up with Pure Leaf to reintroduce the practice of workday “tea breaks” to recharge. She said, "I'm big on taking breaks now, especially having a baby. I think it's really important that everyone in general makes time in their schedules to just pause. I was really excited to partner with Pure Leaf, to revitalize the tea break culture. We all deserve time to reset."

Well, excuse me while I go take a break.
