Kitchen trends come and go, and some are better left in the past (avocado appliances, anyone?). But stand mixers aren’t going anywhere. Seriously: KitchenAid is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
In honor of the occasion, the brand just announced its latest limited-edition, highly covetable color collection. Part of the Queen of Hearts Collection, it’s a glossy scarlet, titled Passion Red.
If you’re thinking, KitchenAid already released a 100th anniversary color, well…so are we. (Misty Blue was launched in September.) But we’re not about to complain about a new one, are we?
If Misty Blue was all about honoring the past, Passion Red is all about looking to the future. And according to the brand’s press release, “The 100 Year Limited Edition Queen of Hearts Collection in Passion Red reflects the love and passion that home cooks have for making and aims to inspire creativity in the kitchen for the next 100 years.”
