One step at a time

It's not always easy getting back into your routine after a difficult time—but it seems Kate Middleton is doing just that after wrapping up her course of chemotherapy.

In a recent interview, Robert Jobson, author of Catherine: The Princess of Wales, shared that Kate is making her way back to the gym and her regular rhythm.

“From what I understand, Catherine is doing very well. She is back training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do,” he told Hello! Magazine in a story published on Monday, November 4. Jobson added that we’ll soon be seeing much more of the princess, both at public events and behind the scenes, as she’s ready to return to her usual pace.

While Jobson didn’t spill on the exact workouts Middleton’s diving back into, she's know to have a love for variety—from cold-water swims and tennis matches to trampoline time with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

In an October interview with Vanity Fair, Mike Tindall—husband of Prince William's cousin and Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall—shared that the Princess of Wales "loves her running."

News that Middleton is getting back into the swing of things comes around the same time that Prince William gave his own update regarding his wife during his visit to South Africa for Earthshot Week. He shared with reporters that she’s doing “really well” post-treatment, according to BBC.

“Hopefully she’s watching tonight and cheering me on,” he added. “She’s been amazing this whole year, and I know she’ll be really keen to see tonight be a success.”

Since revealing her cancer diagnosis in March, Princess Catherine’s kept a low profile. But now, with chemotherapy behind her, the Princess of Wales seems ready to start stepping back into the spotlight and pick up where she left off (as she's able, of course).

"I do think that we will start to see a lot more of her, and that she will carry out engagements as well as continuing to work behind the scenes," Jobson predicts.
