When Joanna Gaines is not dropping her holiday collection or designing chic kitchens, she's giving us a glimpse of family life. In a recent Instagram post, the Fixer Upper alum shared the touching gift her youngest son Crew gave her and it will surely pull on the heart strings.
Joanna Gaines Shares the Touching Gift Her Youngest Son Gave Her—and It's So Sweet It'll Give You a Cavity

The image features three flowers (minus the stems) and a handwritten note that reads, "Just because I [heart] you." The six-year-old even left his signature with his name and a heart next to it. How precious is that?
It's not the first time her youngest has surprised her. In September, Gaines wrote in a blog post how Crew inspired her third children's book called The World Needs the Wonder You See. She shared, "He arrived like a gust of wind—the strength of something that could change the direction I was headed in."
She continued, "In the years since, Crew has changed my heart from the inside out. Time and again, he has grabbed my hand and walked me back to seeing things the way I once could."
And when he's not sharing little notes to mom, the six-year-old is participating in the traditional honey harvest, singing during a thunderstorm or dressing up like Spiderman (with Gaines as Gwen, of course) and having loads of fun.
The Magnolia mother of five rarely shares her kids on social media, but when she does they tend to be very sweetest moments, like when her oldest son, Drake, headed off to his second year of college or her daughter, Ella, turned 18.
Here's to more spontaneous notes and fun moments with Crew.
