Wedding bells are in the air—at least when it comes to Jennifer Lopez’s latest role and red carpet look.
Last night, the 52-year-old actress attended the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming movie, Marry Me, which will hit theaters on February 11. Lopez walked the red carpet alongside her boyfriend, Ben Affleck, and wore a white mini-wedding dress that’s now making headlines.
The lace babydoll dress features a high neckline and long sleeves, complete with intricate details along the wrists. Although it’s not full-length, the skirt seems to have a tulle petticoat, so that it juts out in the back instead of lying flat.
On the other hand, Affleck is wearing a low-key outfit, including a black suit topped with a matching peacoat.
According to Page Six, Lopez is wearing the Tulip dress from Giambattista Valli’s “Love” collection, which just so happens to be the brand’s first-ever bridal launch.
J.Lo is also sporting complementary accessories, including jewels by Dior and a gold crystal-embossed clutch by Dolce & Gabbana that features a floral appliqué. Her glitzy heels by Jimmy Choo feature an ankle strap and feather details.
Marry Me tells the story of a pop superstar named Kat Valdez (Lopez), who’s supposed to tie the knot with her longtime beau in front of a live audience. But when she learns about her fiancé’s infidelity at the last minute, she chooses a random stranger in the crowd to marry instead. What could possibly go wrong?
We really hope this is a sign of what’s to come for Lopez and Affleck.
