If you’re like us, then you’ve probably loved Hilary Duff since her Lizzie McGuire days. Now, the 32-year-old Younger star is a mom to two children. (Wow, time flies.) From their names to their cutest photos, here’s everything you need to know about Hilary Duff’s kids.

Duff’s now 7-year-old son Luca was born on March 20, 2012, to Duff and her then-husband Canadian NHL player Mike Comrie. The little Pisces weighed in at seven pounds and six ounces. At the time of his birth, Duff called him “the most wonderful, sweet, adorable baby.” Although Duff and Comrie separated amicably in January 2014 and officially divorced in 2016, they continue to co-parent together.

Now, Luca is in second grade and is even a big brother. Duff recently opened up about how difficult helping him with his homework has been. She shared a photo of them on Instagram, writing, “Homework is already no joke in 2nd grade. I stopped going to “real” school in 3rd grade so I’m actually doomed…I am left scratching my head all the time looking at his homework and I’m terrified for next year! Although Singapore math is the s**t....also learned a lot about tick birds this week.”

Earlier this year, Duff got a sun tattoo in honor of Luca. She admitted that before Luca’s sister Banks’s arrival, he was “on the fence” about wanting another sibling. Judging from her Instagram, it looks like he’s eased into the role of big brother swiftly.

Duff’s daughter, whom she shares with fiancé Matthew Koma, arrived via home water birth on October 25, 2018. The following spring, Duff shared a video of Banks’s birth on Instagram, writing, “It was so absolutely lovely and rewarding (and shocking) that after giving birth to my baby girl we hugged …for the first time, In my mind I like to believe that she was saying good job mom. Go team go. We did it. Together.” Duff went on to explain that Koma, her mother, Susan, and sister, Hailey, were also present for Banks’s birth. Later, The Haunting of Sharon Tate star opened up about drinking Banks’s placenta in a smoothie postnatally.

Now, Banks is a year old and, as Duff described in a birthday photo slideshow, “spirited and funny and brave and edible.”
