Congratulations are in order for Gal Gadot, who recently announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband, Yaron Varsano. The Wonder Woman 1984 star shared the exciting news on her Instagram page, along with a rare family photo that included their two daughters.
Although we've seen Gadot's partner pop up on her feed on a few occasions, not much is known about the couple's relationship. So naturally, we did some digging. Here’s everything you need to know about Gadot's husband.
Varsano is an Israeli real estate developer and businessman. He previously owned The Varsano Hotel in Tel Aviv, which he ran alongside Gadot and his brother, Guy. In 2015, they sold it for a cool $26 million.
The couple tied the knot in 2008 in an intimate ceremony in Tel Aviv. Gadot wore a fitted lace gown, while Varsano opted for a classic black suit.
They are parents to two daughters: Alma (9) and Maya (3), who was born two months before Wonder Woman hit theaters. As previously mentioned, the couple also have a third baby on the way, but Gadot hasn't announced a due date.
Gadot and Varsano met through mutual friends at a yoga retreat, where they bonded over their common interests, despite their ten-year age difference.
“We met nearly ten years ago through mutual friends at this very strange party in the Israeli desert,” Gadot told Glamour. “It was all about yoga, chakras and eating healthy—we didn’t exactly find ourselves there, but we found each other.”
Although they haven’t revealed many details about the proposal, we do know that Varsano popped the question in 2008 with a stunning round-cut diamond, set on a platinum band.
