From trolling South Park to sharing surprisingly good vegan recipes, Lizzo is a must-follow celebrity on Instagram. And her latest post seals the deal.
This week, the “Truth Hurts” singer, 36, shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram. The post included a cheeky mirror selfie of Lizzo in her underwear, and she looks incredible. (See the photo here.)
The selfie is featured at the very beginning of the slideshow, and it shows Lizzo’s hips facing away from the camera with her torso twisted to the front. The rest of the slideshow includes irrelevant memes, photos and screenshots. The caption reads, “Me myself & all my Memes [butterfly emoji].”
Followers filled the comments section with positive messages. One person wrote, “LETS GOOOOOOOO LIZZO!!!!!!” Another added, “Now she’s been activated.”
Lizzo hasn’t been shy about sharing her weight loss journey with her fans. In an interview with The New York Times, the singer explained why she prefers to use the phrase “body neutrality” over “body positivity.”
“The idea of body positivity, it’s moved away from the antiquated mainstream conception,” she said. "It’s evolved into body neutrality.”
Lizzo continued, “I’m not going to lie and say I love my body every day. The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day. There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don’t feel completely positive.”
