Oh baby, this is big news for the Teigen/Legend household!
Chrissy Teigen, 37, and John Legend, 44, just welcomed their new child early yesterday morning, January 13, and the news was revealed in quite an unexpected way.
As Legend performed at a private concert on Friday evening, he apparently couldn't keep the exciting news to himself, because he spilled to all the concertgoers, saying that he and Teigen welcomed “the little baby this morning.”
As reported by People, the “All of Me” crooner also said he “didn't get a lot of sleep” the past night, but he “feels energized” after spending “a lot of time” at the hospital. He ended his message by saying: “What a blessed day.”
While we don't know the name of the child yet, this is the couple's latest, following their 6-year-old daughter Luna and their 4-year-old son Miles. The baby's arrival comes over two years after Teigen revealed that she had lost her son, Jack, 20 weeks into her pregnancy back in 2020.
Teigen announced to the world that she was pregnant again back in August 2022. She posted a pair of mirror selfies to Instagram, where she was seen sporting a baby bump while modeling a pair of sheer, high-cut briefs.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” the former Lip Sync Battle co-host wrote in her caption. “1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
