The actress shared a never-before-seen video of herself at age 17 on her Instagram account and we’re all wondering, how does she look exactly the same? If the caption didn’t give it away, we would’ve thought this was shot recently.
She captioned the post, “A 17 year old me, backstage at the Theater Royal Drury Lane, London. Seems like yesterday!!!”
The video shows a young Zeta-Jones getting her hair ready for a show while she works on her own makeup. Meanwhile, the soundbite playing over the vid is from an interview during her time in the West End production of 42nd Street. She describes overcoming nerves and shows she was always lead actress material.
Recently, the Chicago alum has been posting a few childhood throwbacks (ya know, when she’s not showing off rare photos of her children), including her fifth birthday and her parents’ wedding photos (where she displays a striking resemblance to her mom we might add). But aside from personal pics, she’s also been sharing several of her Broadway moments and giving a shoutout to the theater community, who is currently struggling due to the pandemic.
“Thinking of all my fellow Broadway performers. I can not wait for the stages to be full of life again soon!” she captioned.
