Though America’s grandma and television icon, Betty White, has sadly passed away at 99, as confirmed by her agent in a statement to People, she has left behind quite the incredible legacy.
From her early days on the radio to her iconic spin as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls, she has never failed to make us laugh. So in her honor, we're taking a look at some of her greatest photos and greatest accomplishments throughout her decades-long career. We love you, Betty.
After starting her career in radio, Betty briefly hosted and produced her own talk show on NBC called The Betty White Show.
TV audiences weren’t the only ones charmed by White’s many appearances on the popular game show Password—in 1963 she married the host, Allen Ludden.
For nineteen years, White acted as hostess and commentator for the Tournament of Roses Parade.
White won two of her seven (yes, seven) Emmys for her work on The Mary Tyler Moore Show as the man-hungry “Happy Homemaker” Sue Ann Nivens.
It looks like David Letterman was just as smitten with White as the rest of us.

The Golden Girls will forever be our favorite girlfriend sitcom. (No offense to Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha.)
