Valentine’s Dinner Plans? Check, Thanks to Aldi’s New Heart-Shaped Pasta

Last-minute reservations, prix fixe menus and paying a premium just to eat out on a holiday? We’ll pass, thanks.

Aldi has our back with their newest launch, coming January 30, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Everyone's favorite grocery store is gearing up to release heart-shaped macaroni pasta—for just $2. Yes, it costs approximately one one-hundredth of the price you’d pay for that five-star restaurant you were eyeing, and with enough grated parmesan cheese, *could* be just as delicious.

According to the Aldi website, the cupid-approved pasta hearts are by Reggano, their private-label Italian food brand and come in yellow and red varieties. Did we mention it’s heart-shaped? Besides feeding your carb-craving appetite with a delicious bowl of pasta, you can show off your cooking skills to your S.O. with a romantic homemade candlelit dinner and in the most on-theme way possible. Or just eat them all yourself in front of your fave rom-com. (You really can’t go wrong here.)

You can check to see if your local Aldi store has it here. Other Valentine’s Day Aldi finds include heart-shaped cheeseschocolate red wine, Belgian-cocoa-dusted truffles and more.

Heart-shaped carbs? Just call us tortellini in love.
