The 30-Second Trick to Cleaning Pine Needles Off Your Floor

They're Christmassy...but they're driving you crazy

Pine needles: They’re the bane of your holiday existence. If only your vacuum cleaner would actually do its job and suck them up. Here, two quick solutions to quickly clean them up and off your hardwood or carpeted floors.

Solution 1: Hardwood Floors

Grab your lint roller (the kind with the sticky tear-off sheets) and do a quick sweep of the area beneath your tree. The needles will stick to the paper. Done and done.

Solution 2: Carpets and Rugs

Raid your cabinets for baking soda and sprinkle it anywhere pine needles are embedded. The powder coats the needles, which makes it easier for them to get vacuumed right up.
