Not sure about you, but I am once again looking to Taylor Swift for some fall fashion inspiration. From her over-the-knee boots to her denim-on-denim ensembles, the star has been gearing up for the chiller weather in style. Top of mind this season, however, are the oh-so-preppy plaid mini skirts the singer can't seem to get enough of. Last November she stepped out in the nearly $1,500 Miu Miu mini you can peep in the photo above, and a month later was seen cheering on the Chiefs in the more affordable Rails Adriana skirt ($168).

Unsurprisingly, Swift has been quick to jump on the plaid bandwagon again this year—this past Saturday, Sept. 21, she donned the Derrick pleated mini skirt ($365) from Ramy Brook to hit NYC with bestie Gigi Hadid. While that exact piece is currently sold out (though you can sign up for the waitlist if you wish), I'll be shopping a few similar styles to get Swift's school girl-inspired look—including the same Rails number she wore last December. Lucky for any fellow Swiftie fashionistas, I've shared my finds below.

As I mentioned, Swift wore this exact skirt to a Chiefs game last December, which the brand has brought back for the season—albeit in a slightly different colorway. Crafted with a structured, polyester-blend twill fabric that's great for chillier temps, the skirt has a unique wrap fastening and an asymmetric silhouette that stands out from the crowd. The checkered print is right in-line for fall, and the piece is versatile enough to wear with a range of tops and footwear (I’m thinking a long-sleeve shirt and combat boots). It also comes in solid black if you want something even more universal.

From its neutral brown colorway to its leggy length, this subtly pleated pick totally reminds me of the Miu Miu skirt Swift donned last November. It even has belt loops on the waist to style with a thin black belt like she did. My advice? Pair it with knee-high socks and chunky Mary Janes for the ultimate Swift-approved look—I know I'll be.

If Rory Gilmore-esque 'dark academia' is your jam, this pleated skirt belongs in your rotation. With its precise layering and buckle accents, it leans into the vintage prep school aesthetic—but, you know, makes it *chic.* You can also dress it up with a blazer and heels, or go casual with a simple white tee and sneakers for the varsity look. It's all about the options, right ladies?

I absolutely adore this mini skirt, as do *thousands* of Amazon shoppers. I imagine you will, too, due to its fun, flared vibe and purportedly super comfy fit. Not only is it made with a hint of spandex for stretch, it also features built-in shorts for extra security, and has a pull-on style that is easy to slip in and out of. Plus, the style comes in more than 20 different colors (including solids) and is super affordable, meaning you could definitely grab two (or three) without breaking the bank.
