What's one of the best parts of having a Hollywood actress for a mom? Borrowing from her closet, of course. At the 95th Academy Awards, Salma Hayek, 56, brought her 15-year-old daughter, Valentina, who sported a gorgeous red Isaac Mizrahi gown that her mother first wore to the Fire & Ice Ball in 1997.

Hayek and her teenage daughter had a fiery color scheme going because the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish actress showed up in a sunburnt orange dress from Gucci.

Valentina looked quite elegant in her mom's cherry red dress, and she accessorized with a small silver handbag and a delicate silver chain.

We first saw Hayek wear this dress back in ’97, ten years before Valentina was born. The Frida star donned the strapless gown to the Fire & Ice Ball in Los Angeles, where she accessorized with a shiny diamond choker and a bedazzled, deep red handbag. Valentina seemed to be making a nod to her mom's iconic look by wearing a similar, albeit smaller, necklace.

While Hayek is handing down some of her fabulous dresses to her daughter (who she shares with husband François-Henri Pinault), she still knows how to make a fashion statement. Her custom Gucci gown was adorned in sequins and featured a halter-style top, with a skirt covered in metallic tinsel.

At the end of Oscars night, Hayek posted a comical (and relatable) video to her Instagram, where she was seen standing in her kitchen with her Gucci dress unzipped, eating a sandwich as a late-night snack.

We love to see that you've passed on your impeccable style to your daughter, Salma.
