Thanks to Kate, outfit repeating is no longer above anyone, Royals included. After all, when you love something so much, why should you wear it only once? But we can’t help but wonder why sis-in-law Meghan hasn’t brought back one specific dress from her outfit archives: This black velvet peplum number she wore to the Anti-Defamation League Entertainment Industry Awards Dinner in 2011.

The high neckline! The peplum! The luxe black velvet! Maybe she simply got rid of it in an early day KonMari binge, or maybe she doesn’t think it’s appropriate since she attended the awards dinner with her now ex-husband Trevor Engelson. Whatever the case, we’re launching an official petition to bring back the black velvet dress that would fit so seamlessly into her style rotation post-baby bump.

And in the meantime, we’re putting these six pieces out into the universe in hopes that Meg randomly remembers the dress and gives the people (us) what they want.
