First of all, congratulations on scoring tickets to the concert of the summer! Beyoncé announced her tenth concert tour for her latest album, Cowboy Carter, in early February, and already the Beyhive is kicking things into high gear with the outfit planning. Because if the Renaissance tour taught me anything, it’s that Beyoncé’s fans do not come to play, they come to slay. Here, eight outfit ideas to help you find the perfect concert ‘fit worthy of Queen Bey.

When Is Beyoncé Going On Tour?
The Cowboy Carter tour starts on April 28 in Inglewood, CA, before jetting off to planned stops in Chicago, London, Paris, Houston and more. There are currently 32 shows planned, but you never know if there may be more dates added—Bey has been known to throw in a few surprises while she’s on the road.
How Do I Style an Outfit for the Cowboy Carter Tour?
The most obvious choice is to lean into those glam-western Cowboy Carter vibes straight from her eighth studio album. Cowboy boots, Stetson hats, chaps and, of course, Levi’s jeans are all ideal for dancing the night away with the Beyhive, especially if they’re adorned with crystals and sparkle. But there are plenty of other visuals you can use from throughout Beyoncé’s career to inspire your concert-ready looks. Read on for eight Cowboy Carter tour outfits to make the night even more epic.

1. Western Glam
This is the vibe I can almost guarantee most Cowboy Carter concertgoers will opt for, and for good reason. It’s fun, it’s festive and it’s easy. Just look for anything that combines the ease and durability of cowboy attire—sturdy boots, denim shorts, suede jackets—with touches of sparkle, glitter and sex-appeal—crystal fringe, corset tops, sequin bandanas. Have fun mixing these opposing aesthetics to find the ideal combo for a comfortable ‘fit you can wear to dance for the whole night.

2. Americana
Try your hand at copying Bey’s cover look from the album with a combination of American classics in red, white or blue. Think white button-ups, graphic tees, cut-off denim shorts, even a pageant-worthy sash. As a bonus, you’ll only have to make some minor tweaks to wear this look again on the Fourth of July.

3. Bandana Paisley
One of the few visuals we’ve seen for the Cowboy Carter album was a collage-inspired video for “ALLIGATOR TEARS” Bey posted to Instagram featuring a bandana print set from Golden Goose. She then sported bandana print again, this time in the form of a gold Schiaparelli gown for her historic night at the 2024 Grammys. Whether you opt for a subtle approach with an actual bandana tied around your neck or go all-out with a head-to-toe embrace of the western print, this is definitely a very fun and chic option for the tour.

4. Denim on Denim on Denim
Do like the song “LEVII’S JEANS” says and prepare to rock all your favorite denim pieces. A word to the wise however: Denim is not super breathable, so I highly suggest sticking with looser pieces like chambray blouses or A-line mini dresses, or skin-baring items like shorts or corsets over a full-length denim jumpsuit (bad news for bathroom breaks, too) to avoid overheating.

5. Pamela Anderson
Beyoncé has released very few visuals for this album, but one of the earliest was an homage to the one and only Pamela Anderson. In November 2024, Bey released a short clip on Instagram set to the song “Bodyguard” in which she recreated some of Pam’s most iconic looks, including her black skintight look from Barb Wire, her enormous fuzzy pink hat from the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards and, of course, her red Baywatch one-piece swimsuit. So why not honor both women with your concert outfit?

6. Chardonneigh
Did you know that the horse featured on the cover of the Cowboy Carter album is named Cardonneigh? And that Beyoncé’s mirrorball horse from the Renaissance cover is named Reneigh? Yes, really. If there was ever a time to embrace your inner horse girl wholeheartedly, it’s now. Break out that horse T-shirt, horse midi skirt, horse blouse, whatever you’ve got to honor these two gorgeous mares in style.

7. Renaissance
Yes, the Renaissance tour look you so painstakingly picked out in 2023 is still relevant! Beyoncé has always loved a ‘70s glam moment and latex bodysuit, and Cowboy Carter is no exception. To make the ‘fit feel a bit more on theme try adding a bolo tie, bandana, cowboy hat or pair of cowboy boots to the mix.

8. Classics with a Twist
If you’re ever stumped for what to wear to a concert, why not revert back to the classics? You simply cannot go wrong with a concert tee and comfy jeans. Just be sure to add in some Cowboy Carter accessories to make the look feel a bit more special. I’m talking cowboy boots, a bolo tie, a bandana or even just a red-white-and-blue manicure.
