You Can Now Apply for the Next Season of ‘Nailed It’ (& Put Your New Baking Skills to the Test)

nailed it casting

In addition to expanding our streaming queue, we’ve been using social distancing as an excuse to master our baking skills, which were nonexistent just a few short weeks ago. Although it started off as a hobby, that all may have changed now that we know Netflix is casting season five of Nailed It!

That’s right, the streaming service is currently looking for amateur bakers to join the cast of Nailed It!, and we’re having a hard time finding reasons not to apply. The only thing that’s stopping us is the fact that Netflix hasn’t revealed any details about the upcoming season, including whether it’ll have a theme—like Holiday.

Still, it’s not every day we get the opportunity to showcase our laughable baking talents on national television, which is why we’ve already filled out the simple online application. Hey, you never know.

To apply, all you need to do is head to the official casting website and answer a series of questions about yourself and your baking talents. Applicants will then be asked to film a video of themselves baking a dish of their choice, documenting everything from the recipe to the final product. Bonus points if the video showcases your bubbly personality, which was practically made for reality television. (Confidence is key, folks.)

If you need us, we’ll be re-watching all four seasons of Nailed It! on Netflix. You know, for study purposes.
