13 Jennifer Lopez Movies to Stream Right Now (Including Our Favorite Bennifer Flick)

Of all the things that we could’ve predicted about Jenny from the Block, a Bennifer reunion certainly wasn’t one of them.

For those who missed it, Jennifer Lopez made her relationship with Ben Affleck Instagram official by posting a pic of their steamy kiss on her birthday. Then, in September, Affleck gushed about Lopez during his chat with Adweek, adding that he's "in awe" of the 52-year-old pop star. Now, the lovebirds are officially engaged (!!!) and, TBH, we're still reeling a bit from the news. Since we're practically reliving the early 2000s, we thought we'd revisit some of Lopez's best films and fictional romances. From Maid in Manhattan to Hustlers, read on for 13 Jennifer Lopez movies you can (and should) stream right now.

RELATED J.Lo and Ben Affleck Are Reportedly Hanging Out Again—and This Xennial Has Some *Thoughts*

1. ‘selena’ (1997)

By portraying the iconic Tejano singer, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, Lopez actually made history by becoming the first Latin actress to earn more than $1 million for a film. The popular biopic details the life and career of the music star before she was murdered at 23 years old.

2. ‘the Wedding Planner’

In arguably one of the best meet-cutes of all time, Mary (Lopez) is rescued from a speeding dumpster by a handsome pediatrician, Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey). They instantly connect and, for once, Mary is convinced that she’s found love. However, it turns out there’s more to Steve than he’s letting on.

4. ‘enough’

What starts off as a fairy tale-esque marriage turns into a literal nightmare when Slim Hiller’s (Lopez) husband, Mitch (Billy Campbell), starts to physically abuse her. The thriller film, which is based on Anna Quindlen’s novel Black and Blue, wasn’t well received by critics, but it packs enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat.

5. ‘the Back-up Plan’ (2010)

After going through a number of failed relationships, Zoe (Lopez) gives up on finding Mr. Right and decides to become a single mother through artificial insemination. The only problem? When she finally gets pregnant, she meets the man of her dreams. Cheesy romances, FTW.

6. ‘second Act’

When Maya Vargas (J.Lo), an ambitious assistant manager at a grocery store, gets passed up for a promotion, she opts for a career in corporate—with the help of a phony résumé and fake credentials.

7. ‘shall We Dance’ (2004)

John Clark (Richard Gere) leads a successful life, but still, he feels like something is missing. In an attempt to fill the void, he secretly takes up ballroom dancing with his stunning instructor, Paulina (J.Lo)—although his wife isn't too thrilled about his new secret hobby.

8. ‘hustlers’ (2019)

J.Lo, Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo and Cardi B all star in this critically-acclaimed crime drama, which follows a group of strippers who rob a string of wealthy men by drugging them and running up their credit cards.

9. ‘lila & Eve’ (2015)

This gripping crime drama stars Viola Davis as Lila Walcott, a single mother who struggles to cope with the murder of her son. When the police barely make an effort to investigate, she decides to take matters into her own hands, with the help of her support group sponsor, Eve (Lopez). As always Davis is phenomenal.

10. ‘parker’ (2013)

Lopez teams up with Jason Statham, aka the king of action thrillers, in this intense film, which follows a professional thief (Statham) who’s hell bent on revenge after he gets played by his crew. With the help of a real estate agent, Leslie (Lopez), he plans to disrupt his former crew’s jewelry heist.

11. ‘out Of Sight’ (1998)

If you’ve yet to see this film and you’re big on on-screen chemistry, then you have to give this a look, because J.Lo and George Clooney make one heck of a pair in this Oscar-nominated comedy. Clooney stars as Jack Foley, a bank robber who falls for Karen Sisco (Lopez), who just so happens to be a U.S. Marshal. Fun fact: Viola Davis also appeared in this movie.

12. ‘what To Expect When You're Expecting’ (2012)

Inspired by Heidi Murkoff's pregnancy guide of the same title, this funny rom-com follows five different couples as they struggle to navigate the ups and downs of pregnancy and parenting. The star-studded cast includes J.Lo, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, Chace Crawford, Brooklyn Decker and Anna Kendrick.

13. ‘gigli’ (2003)

Are we seriously suggesting that this is one of J.Lo’s better movies? Of course not. But considering that there’s a slight chance of Bennifer making a real comeback, we just had to include the infamous film where it all started. Ben Affleck stars as the rugged Larry Gigli, who falls for an attractive gangster named Ricki (Jennifer Lopez) while they work together.
