TikTok has a way of persuading us to get the latest beauty device (red light therapy mask, anyone?), but if you're like me, I'm always a bit skeptical of its results. Well, one PureWow staffer is testing out the latest viral skincare tool firsthand to see if it's actually worth your time.

On this episode of Take My Money, host Kate Kesselman tries the Intense Pulsed Light Wrinkles Reducing Instrument (currently out of stock, but we found an alternative on Amazon with the same functionality and design) to see if it works after one use. The face light has gone viral for its promise of instant results and targeting common skin concerns (i.e., acne, wrinkles and discoloration.) Check out the video of her honest review below.

In the video, Kate preps by first applying moisturizer on her skin. She explains, "I want to make sure that when I put the device on my skin and it really glides on."

Kate then provides a close up of the tool. It's designed with three different light options: green for sagging skin and discoloration, red for wrinkles and blue for acne. She opts for trying out the red light mode first, which she finds has an impressive pulsing feature. "Oh, I did not realize it would pulse that much. Oh my god, it's so pulsating. Wow, it's like a massage."

So, is the viral face light worth it? Check out Kate's before/after results in the video above to find out if you should splurge on the facial device.
