Expertise
As a lifestyle writer and editor, I'm committed to sharing ideas and tutorials that streamline and bring joy to people's everyday lives. I primarily cover food and home stories, which range from breaking down a TikTok-viral dessert trend to speaking with designers about no-demo renos that can boost your house's ROI.
I'm also passionate about stress-testing the buzziest products on the internet, as I oversee the PureWow100 review series and our awards programs. It's my goal to separate the must-haves from the hype, so you don't waste your money.
Experience
Though I got my start in newspaper reporting as a generalist, I soon found myself immersed in magazines and digital media, with a focus on two fronts: interior design and food. I have been a writer and editor for more than 10 years, and during that time, I've worked for O, The Oprah Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Delish and House Beautiful. My work has appeared in several other publications, from Cosmo to Harper's Bazaar to Esquire, and I've published two cookbooks and contributed recipes to three others.
Education
After receiving my bachelor's degree in journalism/mass communications from the University of South Florida, I've continued to build out my skillset by taking courses in food writing and video production at New York University. As I got into recipe development, I took courses in fine cooking, food styling and cake decorating at the International Culinary Center in New York City.
