1. Hershey’s Halloween Props Milk Chocolate Bars
These cuties prove that plain milk chocolate is *not* boring. Each bag contains six collectible “props” molded into the bars that the kids will love to play with. Take your pick of mustaches, cat eyes, sunglasses, mouths, fangs and eye patches.
Blessed be: Your coven won’t need to choose between their favorite M&M’s flavors this Halloween. The Mad Scientist mix is a medley of milk chocolate, peanut butter and peanut flavors, so you’ll get a tasty variety of textures in every bite.
This one’s not for the faint of heart (er, stomach). Venture beyond your candy-loving comfort zone with adventurous treats like sour chili gummy belts, chicken and waffles saltwater taffy, pizza hard candies, salty licorice starfish and more.
4. Jelly Belly Butterbeer Candies
Muggles assemble: Jelly Belly’s new line of Harry Potter-inspired goodies will be available nationwide in October. Savor the sweet and salty bliss of Butterbeer in the form of chewy candy and a cream-filled milk chocolate bar. Go the extra mile by ordering the Harry Potter House Points Dispenser, then fill it with your favorite jellybeans.
New this year are these decadent caramels, crafted with fresh heavy cream, real vanilla extract and rich milk or dark chocolate. If you’re partial to the Fall Masterpieces collection—a mix of chocolates bursting with creamy caramel, hazelnut, raspberry and mint fillings—you’ll notice the bags have new autumnal packaging that’s sure to get you in the spirit.
6. Shimmering Skull Cocoa Bomb
Edible art at its finest. Add some sparkle to your mug with this milk chocolate skull, stuffed to the brim with cocoa and marshmallows. It’s the ultimate nightcap after hours of trick-or-treating.
This layered cookie bar topped with caramel and milk chocolate never gets old. (Remember noshing on them the second you got back from trick-or-treating? Those were the days.) This Halloween, Twix bars will be sporting green cookies for a freakishly festive spin.
8. Ferrero’s 31 Days of Halloween Countdown Calendar
Like an Advent calendar, only spookier and packed with your favorite candies. Starting October 1, treat yourself to one piece a day from brands like Nutella, Butterfinger, CRUNCH, Baby Ruth and Kinder Joy until Halloween. Even better, your purchase doubles as a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
9. Stuffed Puffs Monster Marsh
Whether you’re making a bone-chilling charcuterie board recipe or Halloween party goody bags, these poppable treats are a must. The green marshmallows are oozing with chocolatey filling and encrusted in bug-like orange and black sprinkles for extra ick (in a good way, of course).
10. Seattle Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Chai Truffle Bar
If gourmet chocolate is your thing, Seattle’s offerings *need* to be on your radar. On the heels of the brand’s best-selling pumpkin spice truffle bar comes this autumnal sequel, a milk chocolate bar spiked with black tea and warm chai spices. Treat yourself to all three bars in the fall collection, which also includes Apple Pie a la Mode and Peanut Butter Pretzel, or go for the Halloween truffle bag instead, a mix of Mexican hot chocolate- and peanut butter-flavored truffles.
Milk chocolate, chewy nougat, creamy caramel and peanuts—it’s a classic for a reason, folks. This October, you can try this timeless treat with a twist: green-colored nougat.
These sweet-and-sour gummies are so cute and delicious that they’d make even the meanest bloodsuckers leave their coffins to buy a bag. You can also opt for the Sweet or Scary Mix, which has Ghostly Gummies, Mini Sour Vampire Bats and O.G. Goldbears, or the Trick or Treat Mix, which includes those three plus Happy Cola and Twin Snakes gummies.
13. Smash Pumpkin
Did the house with king-size candy bars run out before you could get one? Let out your aggression on this massive, orange-colored white chocolate pumpkin, filled with festive sprinkled milk chocolate-covered pretzels, candy corn and jellybeans. It comes with a tiny mallet for smashing.
Starting September 15, you can send a box of goodies to a friend (or yourself), specially for Halloween. Take your pick of new candies—like pumpkin spice malted milk balls, mellowcreme pumpkins and fall pumpkin gummies—or go with classics like candy corn, Tootsie Rolls and Reese’s Pieces instead. (Pumpkin spice popcorn and pumpkin spice latte pour-over coffee are on the menu too, BTW.)
15. Tony's Chocolonely Tiny Tony's Caramel Sea Salt Chocolates
We can't get enough of Tony's full-size chocolate bars, but these bite-sized ones are just right for trick-or-treaters. Each bag includes 27 individually wrapped chocolates filled with sea salt-kissed milk caramel. Might we suggest handing those out to the neighborhood kids and treating yourself to their newest full-size flavor, milk chocolate with chocolate chip cookie chunks? (In case you need more convincing, Tony's prides itself on being ethically made and actively works to end slavery in the chocolate industry, so it's a purchase you can feel good about.)
16. Delysia Chocolatier's Halloween Truffle Collection
Spook your taste buds (and impress your guests) with these stunning seasonal truffles, complete with Insta-worthy designs and made from top-tier ingredients. Each box includes nine truffles: three caramel, three candy corn and three peanut butter. They're sophisticated enough to give as a gift, but indulgent and nostalgic enough to devour by yourself once the kids are in bed. The choice is yours.
17. Brach’s Caramel Apple Mellowcremes
These launched in 2021, but we still can’t get enough of them. The apple-shaped pieces follow suit of their pumpkin predecessors. What makes them stand out is that they have a bonus layer of caramel-flavored candy. Which is your favorite: sweet red apple or tart green apple?
There are no new varieties of PEEPS’s Halloween marshmallows this year, but that’s OK with us: We’ll never get tired of the classic ghosts and pumpkins. In 2021, the brand premiered a skull-shaped version of their famous sugar-coated mallows, reminiscent of sugar skulls, a popular decoration used for Día de los Muertos.
Are you vegan, on keto or cutting back on sugar? We have just the treat for you. Gatsby Chocolate just launched an oat milk-based chocolate bar filled with crisped rice. As decadent as that sounds, it contains half the calories and a quarter of the sugar of big-brand chocolate bars, and only 5 net carbs per serving.
