From a too-hot venue to a too-rambly officiant, a lot of ceremony components run the risk of irritating your friends and fam. But according to wedding planner Jennifer Brisman, there's one common mistake you can absolutely plan for and avoid: facing away from your guests.
“I think it’s such a challenge when couples have their backs to guests, when so many have traveled from far and wide to be there," says Brisman. "Even arranging yourselves on an angle is better. If you want guests to really experience your ceremony, let them experience your emotion by actually, you know—seeing you!”
Who knew this was such a faux pas?!
