If you were distracted by the incredible singing, costumes and acting in Wicked (because same), you might've missed one cameo that would make Sex and the City fans really happy. During the movie's commentary bonus feature, Ariana Grande confirmed that David Eigenberg (aka Steve Brady) had an uncredited role in the musical.

I was not expecting that
PEOPLE reports, Glinda herself shared, "So that, I guess, is Steve from Sex and the City. He makes a cameo. He has one line and it's the best line in the whole thing, the little Tamarin Monkey."
The short cameo happens when Dr. Dillamond (voiced by Peter Dinklage) is hosting a private meeting with other Oz's other talking animals to discuss their on-going discrimination and mistreatment. Blink and you'll miss the one-liner from the And Just Like That star, who expresses their observation on the growing issue in Oz. Now that I think about it, the voice did sound oddly familiar.
Oh, and the line in question? "A solicitor was sacked just for arguing a case."
In the commentary, it also appears the singer tried to mimic Eigenberg's one line—and I wouldn't be surprise if she nailed it. Grande adds, "It's the craziest thing in the world. You were great on 20 seasons of Sex and the City."
Back in July 2024, the External Sunshine artist gushed about rewatching the original show. In the interview, she shared her favorite character was actually Miranda. "I love Miranda. I think pieces of them exist within all of us, in certain ways. I think Miranda's brilliant and such a lovely friend and good communicator, but I don't think I actually am a Miranda. I swim in the waters of Carrie and Charlotte," she said.
Grande and costar Cynthia Eviro also offered other behind-the-scenes lore like hurting her neck doing the signature hair toss, *that* ballroom scene and more. I'm here for all the Easter eggs, and I'm not above to doing another rewatch soon.
