While some people dream of meeting the royal family, it was reality for NFL player Travis Kelce—and he’s sharing all about his encounter with the royals.

“[There’s] something that we don’t even know if we are allowed to tell you guys but we’re gonna say it here,” Travis teased during the June 26 episode of the podcast New Heights that he cohosts with his brother Jason Kelce.

“We met royalty,” the Kansas City Chiefs player revealed. “Got there early and got to meet Prince William.”

“Dude, he was the coolest motherf*****,” Travis said. “He was so cool.”

Jason agreed, chiming in, “He’s awesome… he’s a good dude.”

In addition to meeting the Prince of Wales, the Kelce brothers also met his children, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, who Travis said were “an absolute delight.”

“They were wonderful people, and that's what it's about. You know?” Jason elaborated. “Obviously, literally part of a monarchy, royalty. Yeah. Hard to be a down to earth human being, I would assume. But came off that way completely.”

The NFL tight end also admitted that he’s not exactly an expert on the protocol when it comes to meeting royalty.

“Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand,” Travis said, adding, “We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the park.”

The meeting went on while supporting Travis’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, backstage during her Eras tour stop at Wembley Stadium in London on June 21. Swift even shared a selfie of the moment to social media the following day. In the photo, the royal family, along with the pop star and footballer, are all smiling ear to ear.

“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” Swift captioned the snapshot.
