Princess Diana's Niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, Just Got Married & Her Lace Wedding Gown Is to Die For

Congrats are in order for Lady Kitty Spencer!

The British fashion model (who is also the niece of the late Princess Diana) just got married last week during a gorgeous ceremony in Italy. According to Daily Mail, Spencer and her now husband, Michael Lewis, got married at the Villa Aldobrandini country mansion in Frascati.

Lewis is a South African-born business tycoon who has been the chairman of the Foschini Group since 2015. The billionaire proposed to Spencer back in December of 2019, after the pair reportedly met through a mutual friend, according to the New Zealand Herald.

But while it sounds like Spencer's wedding was an event to remember, it was her clothing that truly stole the show. The aristocrat wore a custom-made, lace wedding gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana and the stunning dress was shared by Spencer on her personal Instagram account.

Spencer said, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart Domenico & Stefano for creating a gown beyond my wildest dreams for the most important day of my life. There are no words that could ever express my gratitude @dolcegabbana.”

The final design included impressive details like a massive, rounded train, a high neckline and puffed shoulders. We were treated to another angle of Spencer's dress in a photo taken by German Larkin, who captured the newlyweds walking along a street in Rome. Spencer captioned the photo, “Amore. Per Sempre ♥️.”

But fashion lovers—that wasn't all. Dolce & Gabbana made not just one, but five dresses for the daughter of the 9th Earl Spencer.

The incredible ensembles were seen in a video on the couturier's official Instagram account. They wrote, “On the most important day of her life, @kitty.spencer chose to wear #DolceGabbana. Revisit the exclusive hand-made gowns as we wish the bride and groom a lifetime of love and happiness. Video by @marcocaputofilms.”

Along with the wedding gown, the video offers shots of a baby blue gown adorned with purple flowers, a green and white dress, a multicolored gown, and a quick glimpse of a gold and silver studded ensemble.

The video is a treasure trove of haute couture, and all of these looks are accentuated with stunning jewelry, including dangly diamond earrings, floral headpieces and a scene-stealing necklace resembling a branch of ivy.

Commenters were just as awestruck as we were, like one user who said, “Wow so beautiful.” Another wrote, “Incredible. Absolutely stunning and a work of art.”

The only thing we love more than a high-profile wedding is the fashion that comes with it.
