This brand-new photo of Prince William just gave me the chills.
This week, the royal family shared a slideshow of photos on their personal Instagram account in honor of Remembrance Sunday. The post included highlights from the festivities, but I could barely get past the striking portrait of Prince William that opened the slideshow.
The photo showed Prince William standing alone and saluting. The royal is wearing a double breasted coat, along with a red poppy brooch to pay tribute to those who've died in war.
The caption read, “On Remembrance Sunday, we come together to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve in our Armed Forces. Let us pause, reflect, and remember them always. Lest We Forget.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time that I’ve stumbled upon a striking portrait of Prince William. Earlier this month, the royal family shared an black-and-white pic of the royal who's looking ahead and appearing to be listening intently. The image was just one of several photos that were unveiled during the prince's trip to South Africa for the fourth annual Earthshot Prize Awards.
While addressing the young environmentalists, he said, "All of you in this room are future changemakers, you’re the leaders, you’re the people going to make the difference going forward. It’s your platform. Use it as you need to, take it away, play with it, turn it into something different. Because we believe in you, and what you’re going to do is change the world, I really believe that."
