Princess Charlotte is widely known for her signature wave. But when it comes to her younger brother, Prince Louis, it’s all about the silly faces.
Prince Louis Is Back with More Silly Faces at Trooping the Colour
Today, the British royal family gathered at Buckingham Palace following the annual Trooping the Colour parade. Prince Louis (5) attended the event alongside his parents, Prince William (40) and Kate Middleton (41), and his two siblings, Prince George (9) and Princess Charlotte (8).
Prince Louis was seen making silly faces throughout the day. While standing on the Buckingham Palace balcony, he rested his face in his hands, made scrunched expressions and even pumped his fists in the air. Earlier in the day, while riding in the parade with his family, he also looked hilariously unamused.
However, in one very grown-up moment, the young royal was seen giving a salute with his hand, as seen in the snap above.
This isn’t the first time that Prince Louis has stolen the show with his silly faces (see: his Wimbledon debut above). During last year’s Trooping the Colour ceremony, the young royal couldn’t contain himself during the fly-past on the Buckingham Palace balcony. When he heard the noise approaching, he made a series of funny faces while covering his ears.
Fast-forward to 2023, when Prince Louis attended King Charles’s coronation and kept us totally entertained with his various expressions, ranging from pouting to yawning.
It seems that Prince Louis inherited his penchant for funny faces from his dad, Prince William. We previously stumbled upon photos of Prince William at age 5, and we immediately noticed the resemblance to Prince Louis. One picture showed young Prince William on the steps of Marivent Palace in Majorca. When compared to the balcony pic of Prince Louis, it’s hard to deny the similarities.
