Prince Harry is speaking out about a charity close to his heart in a brand-new video. But he is also using the occasion to show off his new haircut.
In honor of Nepal's virtual Trailwalker Relay, which takes place from September 21 to 27, the Duke of Sussex shared a rare video message thanking all who are participating. The event (a 100km team challenge) is being held to help raise money for Oxfam as well as the Gurkha Welfare Trust, who are working together to supply PPE during the coronavirus pandemic and help fight global poverty.
In the clip, shot from his new home in Santa Barbara, the 36-year-old told participants, “You're going to need to dig deep, physically and emotionally, to get you and your team across that 100km. I know that you can do it. And with every step you take, just remember, you're helping those who need it most. So, thank you and good luck.”
And while we love a good old pep talk from the prince, we were immediately drawn to Harry’s new look, specifically, his shorter ’do paired with an impressively manicured beard. While he usually keeps his hair on the longer (yet tidy) side, it seems the duke has opted for a trimmed style for fall. And we’re totally here for it.
Prince Harry isn’t the only member of his family rocking a new look lately. His sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, also recently debuted a fresh style. During a recent visit to one of London’s most iconic bagel joints, Beigel Bake, the Duchess of Cambridge showed off her new halo highlights.
New season, new Harry.
