Kelly Ripa is getting ready for Halloween in the best way possible—by sharing a throwback of her and Mark Consuelos’s costumes from 2019.
Yesterday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host shared a photo in honor of Throwback Thursday, featuring herself and her husband sporting sugar skull makeup (commonly used for Dia de Los Muertos and Halloween). In the snap, the couple stands on a porch surrounded by giant and mini pumpkins. “#tbt 2019 Matrimonio,” she captioned the post.
Not surprisingly, friends, fans and followers quickly filled the comments section with compliments and emojis. Fellow actress and pal, Faith Ford, wrote, “My favorite photo to date! I want this either on a mug or in a frame,” while Anderson Cooper added, “Omg this is amazing.”
However, it was Consuelos’s own comment, in particular, that really stood out to us because he revealed a sweet nickname for his wife: “my pumpkin.” We’re not exactly sure if this is an actual moniker he uses for Ripa or if this was just a play on words to go along with the photo. Either way, we are loving the PDA.
We’re not surprised to see this throwback photo from the All My Children alum. Usually, around this time each year, Ripa begins posting snaps of old costumes, both from her family as well as her time on Live.
Last year, she even shared a slideshow that included a NSFW image of her husband dressed as a cop and sporting very tight pants (swipe to the last image).
