Kelly Ripa Recreates Comical 20-Year-Old Throwback with Three Kids for Mother’s Day

We can always count on Kelly Ripa, 52, for a good joke, so we weren't surprised when the Live with Kelly and Mark co-host pulled out a comical throwback in honor of Mother's Day.

Late yesterday, May 13, the All My Children alum must've been feeling nostalgic ahead of the special holiday, because she found a beachside photo that was taken when all three of her kids were quite young. In the pic, we see Ripa's three children—Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 20—climbing all over her, and she looks at the camera quite unamused. Ripa jokingly captioned the photo: “Headed into #mothersday like……”

In the photo, Joaquin—who was born in 2003—still appears to be a very small baby, so we would venture that this pic was taken around 20 years ago.

Ripa tagged all three of her kids on the post, as well as her husband, Mark Consuelos, 52, who commented, “Happy Mother’s Day!!!”

Meanwhile, celebrities flooded the comments with their love for the pic, like Lisa Rinna, who said, “I think this might be my favorite photo ever.” Meanwhile, celebrity fitness coach Anna Kaiser wrote, “I can viscerally feel the exhaustion in this picture!!! Oh the joys of motherhood [laughing emoji].”

But that's not the best part.

Apparently, Ripa decided to recreate the iconic throwback (seen above) with her kids now...all grown up.

In her caption, Ripa wrote, “Objects in this recreation photo are bigger than they appear [eyes emoji] #Throwback #HappyMothersDay #ThenVsNow.”

The photo sees a grown Joaquin sitting in his mom's lap and pretending to cry, while his mom makes the same exhausted face as from the original photo. Meanwhile, the eldest two kids sit on both sides of her and look on.

This family is truly up for anything.
