It's only about a week until Mark Consuelos, 52, replaces Ryan Seacrest, 48, on Live with Kelly and Ryan and gets to work alongside his wife, Kelly Ripa, 52. However, Ripa recently joked that this change could be bad for their sex life.

During a visit to Watch What Happens Live!, Ripa was asked about her thoughts on the Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes scandal now that she's going to work alongside her husband. In response, Ripa called the situation “very compelling” and joked, “Mark and I have taken a vow of chastity while we'll be working together.”

Ripa added, “Because I know how ABC does not like that—you know, TV partners banging on the side. So, we promise, no banging on the side.”

However, in all seriousness, Ripa has demonstrated her excitement for her hubby to be joining her on the talk show (which will soon be called Live with Kelly and Mark). When the news was announced that Seacrest would be leaving, Ripa made a post that read: “OK NOW we’re empty nesters. When your friends become work mates become family. [heart emoji].
Congratulations @ryanseacrest on surviving six winters in NYC! I’m proud of you and am forever in your corner. And @instasuelos welcome home, or to the contractual obligation phase of our relationship.”

Meanwhile, Ripa recently opened up about how she and Consuelos kept their spark alive during the pandemic. On her new podcast, Let's Talk Off Camera, Ripa told her guest, Dr. Linda Carter: “There were rituals...Can I tell you something? We had sexual rituals that were so ludicrous over FaceTime.”

The Live host added, “I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder.”

We can't wait to hear what Mark has to say about this.
