Every year, Heidi Klum steals the show during the spooky season with her spot-on Halloween costumes that have ranged from a multi-person peacock to a female version of E.T. However, I never expected her to capture my attention as much as she did at the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards.

Tonight, the 2025 Golden Globes took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Out of all the celebrity red carpet looks, Klum’s bright green outfit stood out from the crowd simply because it was different. As you know, gold was majorly trending on the Golden Globes red carpet, with celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Cate Blanchett and Nikki Glaser rocking the hue.
On the other hand, Klum wore a stunning floor-length gown. The dress featured a corset-style top with cutouts below the bralette, along with ruffle details under the armpits. The fabric gathered at her midsection and fell in pleats to reveal a middle slit. The Project Runway host completed the look with silver accessories, including a diamond necklace and sparkly clutch.

Despite her bold color choice, Klum’s outfit complemented the neutral backdrop. Many believe the Golden Globes learned from the Emmy Awards’s mistake at the 75th annual Emmy Awards. You know, when the backdrop was extremely busy, featuring “Fox” and “Emmys” written in white and gold, respectively, against a black background.
For the 2025 Golden Globes, the designers opted for a stunning red carpet background that complemented the stars’ looks (and didn’t take away from them), featuring floor-to-ceiling florals in a neutral color scheme with pops of light pink. The panels were situated between greenery walls that added dimension and variation to the photos.
