It was a family affair

Gwyneth Paltrow’s children are growing up too fast.

Late last month, the Goop founder, 51, shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram documenting her Nashville trip with her two kids, Apple, 19, and Moses, 17.

The first photo featured Paltrow and Moses facing away from the camera. The second picture featured a close-up of the trio enjoying an Italian meal, and it was followed by artsy snaps of neon signs, murals and sushi.

The caption read, “Easter Weekend in Nashville [bunny emoji] [double heart emoji].”

Followers filled the comments section with words of praise for the family photos. One person wrote, “The most beautiful.” Another added, “That’s a long way for an Easter Egg hunt!!!” Someone even noted the resemblance between Moses and his dad, Chris Martin: “Moses really looks like his father.”

Paltrow previously discussed the inspiration behind her daughter’s name, Apple. The actress admitted that her ex-husband, Martin, was the first to suggest it. “Her dad came up with the name and I fell in love with it,” she said. “I thought it was original and cool. I can't imagine her being called anything else!”

Martin also had an influence over Moses's naming. In fact, the name was inspired by a song, titled “Moses,” which was written by his band, Coldplay. Although “Moses” doesn't appear on any of the band's studio albums, it does feature on their live album, Coldplay Live 2003. Martin apparently wrote this song for Paltrow, which also explains the significance of the name.

Family trips FTW.
