The dress uses a combination of solid and sheer fabric to create a geometric design with just enough coverage. The lines wrap around Christie’s arms and bodice, featuring a white to red ombré that could low-key pass for blood if it weren’t so elegant.
Christie accessorized the look with red pumps by Christian Louboutin. She didn’t wear a single piece of jewelry, ultimately giving the dress the attention it deserves.
We’re not surprised the design came from van Herpen, since she’s known for creating futuristic ensembles. In fact, she was one of the first designers to master the art of combining fashion with 3D printing.
This isn’t the first time Christie has worn a creation by the Dutch designer. Back in April, the actress attended the premiere for Game of Thrones season eight at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, where she wore a gold and purple abstract print gown by van Herpen.
From metal armor to princess dresses, Christie can officially pull off anything.
