It’s not every day we consider dropping everything to fly across the world, but this brand-new announcement might make us say, “Let It Go.”
Over the weekend, Disney executives revealed all-new details about the Frozen-inspired land that is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland. The announcement was made at the D23 Expo, where the theme park debuted two new rides that are being developed for the highly anticipated attraction.
First, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs will feature a bobsled-like coaster that travels through Elsa’s kingdom. (Think Disneyland’s Matterhorn, but with a Frozen twist.) Riders will team up with Olaf, “pull” their sled to the top of a hill and embark on a winding journey through Arendelle.
The Frozen-themed land will also include a boat ride called Frozen Ever After, which made its original debut at Epcot’s Norway pavilion. The attraction will feature a traditional Nordic village, complete with souvenir shops and candy stores, and we’re getting major It’s a Small World vibes.
