Some might say it’s terrible timing—the fact that grandparents Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles are out of town (in Germany to be exact) for an official visit at the same time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their royal baby Archie. (Let’s cut them some slack—baby arrivals are tough to predict, after all.)
Still, we gotta hand it to the royal fan who, while Charles and Camilla were on a walkabout in Leipzig, Germany, whipped out their smartphone to show them a pic of their newborn grandson back at home.
After all, the world had a chance to get a glimpse of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor this morning as he made his debut in the arms of his dad Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Camilla’s reaction? After peeking at the image, she replied: “Thank you for showing this to me,” according to The Independent.
