Major congratulations are in order because Queen Camilla has just been given a new title.
Earlier this morning, the royal family announced that Her Majesty has become the first patron of the Rifleman’s Association. Back in 2020, the royal was appointed as the new Colonel-in-Chief of “The Rifles,” taking over the role from the late Prince Philip, who held the position since 2007.
Along with the news, the royal family shared a candid photo of the queen, 77, conversing with members of “The Rifles.” According to the caption, the Rifleman’s Association aims to create a forum for serving and veteran Riflemen to “stay connected with the regiment” in addition to creating a safe space to provide “friendship, support and assistance” as needed.
