We are jumpin', jumpin' for joy at the prospect of a Destiny’s Child reunion, and right now, the possibility seems greater than ever.

As noticed by a few diehard fans, the website for the famous girl group recently got an update, with a background that says “25 years” (commemorating the release of Destiny’s Child’s first studio album in 1998). However, there’s also a message, which reads: “New website coming soon.”

It may not be much, but a twenty-five year anniversary is a big deal, and it's been nearly twenty years since the group released their final studio album—Destiny Fulfilled—in 2004 and subsequently broke up.

Originating as a rap group, called Girl's Tyme, in the early ’90s, Destiny’s Child went through many evolutions before their first album hit shelves in 1998. At the time, the members of the group included Beyoncé Knowles, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson and Kelly Rowland.

From 2001 until the group's disbandment, Destiny’s Child was a trio consisting of Beyoncé, Rowland and Michelle Williams. The group released a greatest hits album in 2005, titled #1's, and then gave a farewell performance the following year, at the 2006 NBA All-Star Game.

Since then, members of the group have collaborated on various projects. Notably, when Beyoncé headlined the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show, she was joined by Williams and Rowland for renditions of “Bootylicious,” “Independent Women” and Queen Bey’s own song “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Five years later, the two former Destiny’s Child members joined Beyoncé on stage again, as she headlined Coachella in 2018.

If you happened to notice from the mysterious message on the Destiny’s Child website, there's an image of a stage in the background, taken from one of the group’s performances. Could this be a hint at a reunion tour? A concert special? A Vegas residency?

Are we looking at a potential Destiny’s Child reunion right on the heels of Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour? They're gonna make us lose our breath.
