‘Virgin River’ Star Colin Lawrence Gives a Peek Inside His Home and Shares Heartwarming Family Tradition

While we restlessly wait for the next season of Virgin River to premiere, we've been enjoying all of the behind-the-scenes photos and videos that have been shared by the cast and crew. In the past few months, we've been treated to dancing videos, private tours and never-before-seen shots.

But when we're not getting glimpses from the set, our second favorite thing to do is check the Instagrams of our favorite stars from the show.

Colin Lawrence (aka John “Preacher” Middleton) just gave his followers a rare look into his home, while also talking about a tradition amongst his family. “When I was a kid my mom would let my siblings and I decorate the tree to keep us busy,” he said in the caption. “Then miraculously the next morning it would look even better.”

And it sounds like Lawrence and his wife, Lucia Walters, are keeping the tradition going. He ended his caption saying, “Seems like the tradition continues. @luciawalters_. #tistheseason #christmas #christmastree.”

In the photo that Lawrence shared, we get a shot of a gorgeous Christmas tree covered in red and silver ornaments (which, based on his caption, must've been decorated by the whole family). We can also see the pale yellow walls of the room which include a pair of white built-in bookshelves that are covered in family photos, awards and other knickknacks.

While Lawrence rarely offers glimpses of his home, he's posted a few shots of his family in the past. Back in June, Lawrence uploaded some loving shots with his daughters on Father's Day, along with a caption that said, “Blessed to be their father. A bond I’ll cherish forever.”

We're glad to see Lawrence keeping the family tradition alive.
