Here's Everything We Know About the New ‘Breaking Bad' Movie

Say his name, because he’s (probably) back for the Breaking Bad movie.

According to reports from World of Reel, the Aaron Paul–starring movie code-named Greenbrier will feature Breaking Bad veterans Bryan Cranston (Walter White), Krysten Ritter (Jane Margolis), Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut), Jesse Plemons (Todd Alquist), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete), Matt Jones (Badger), Robert Forster (Ed, aka The Disappearer), Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman) and Kevin Rankin (Kenny).

If these reports are true, it means Walter (and a few other characters killed off in the TV show) is featured in flashbacks, or this is a prequel-style project (it was originally planned as a sequel, per Screen Rant). We just have to trust: There’s a meth-head to the madness (that’s the saying, right?)

A bit more background on the Breaking Bad movie: Back in November, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will helm a two-hour project based on the TV series that first aired TEN years ago (we know, we can’t believe it either).

One possible title: Greenbrier, and it just so happens that the New Mexico Film Office confirmed that a project with the title of Greenbrier is slated to shoot in the region. The film will take place in the Breaking Bad world and “follow a kidnapped man who escapes and searches for freedom.”Kidnapped man being Jessie Pinkman (Aaron Paul), of course.

We’re still waiting for these reports to, er, crystallize, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
