Beyoncé Shares Behind-the-Scenes Pics from the Grammys (Including Blue Ivy Sipping Out of Her Award)

Who run the Grammys? Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and her daughter, Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé made history at the Grammy Awards last weekend, where she became the most-decorated woman (and singer) in the history of the music ceremony. Carter then shared a compilation of behind-the-scenes photos from the evening on her Instagram, which she captioned with a blue heart.

The video includes the 39-year-old singer's acceptance speech for Best R&B Performance, where she says, "As an artist, I believe it's my job and all of our jobs to reflect the times, and it's been such a difficult time. So, I wanted to uplift, encourage, celebrate all of the beautiful Black queens and kings that continue to inspire me and inspire the whole world."

In addition to her speech, Beyoncé's video features throwback photos from all of her wins over the past twenty years. This is followed with snaps of Beyoncé holding her three trophies from the 2021 ceremony, where she sports two stunning gowns: a black minidress from Schiaparelli and a silver mesh gown from Burberry. The former Destiny's Child member is seen posing with her husband, Jay-Z, and some of her other talented friends, including Megan Thee Stallion and Billie Eilish.

However, the highlight of the photo reel is the very end, where Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is seen posing with her Grammy. At only 9 years old, Blue Ivy became the second-youngest person to ever receive the musical prize. In the last image, Blue Ivy wears a gold crown and sips out of her Grammy with a blue and white candy stripe straw. This iconic shot follows in the footsteps of other musical giants, like Drake, who have used the golden gramophone as a drinking vessel.

Something tells us this family has more Grammy wins in their future.
