Aldi’s New Chocolate Red Wine Is Everything We Want for Valentine’s Day

No more perfect union exists, we think, than a rich creamy chocolate and a tall(er than socially acceptable) glass of red wine.

And now, Aldi is gearing up to release a combo of the two, and we're convinced this marriage of our two favorite foods is the way to easiest way to our hearts this Valentine's Day. Introducing: The Chocolate Cellar Chocolate Red Wine, out on January 30 for $8 a bottle at your favorite local grocery store food heaven. (We'll take 20.)

According to the Aldi website, the magical liquid has "dark fruit flavors" mixed with "decadent chocolate" and "pairs with pastries, biscotti, fruits and desserts." This chocolate red wine is only available for a limited time, though, according to the site. You can check to see if your store has it here.

Other Valentine's Day Aldi finds include heart-shaped cheeses, a brioche pastry heart, Belgian-cocoa dusted truffles, heart-shaped pasta and more.

Fancy dinner? Expensive jewelry? A dozen roses? Just pass the bottle of chocolate vino, please. (OK, and if you insist, the other stuff, too.)
