The Home Depot/Design for PureWow

So, you're in need of a few fresh home upgrades to make this summer one for the books, but you don't plan on emptying your bank account to get them. In that case, here's a little PSA: The Home Depot 4th of July Sale is running from June 20 through July 11, so you can score amazing prices on home items right this minute. The celebratory deals are some of the best I've ever seen at the home improvement retailer. That's because, instead of the usual discounts you would find on power tools and kitchen appliances, the markdowns also span categories you pay extra close attention to during the summer. Yes, I'm talking about all things patio-related, and here are just a few of the can't-miss markdowns to set your sights on:

Up to 45 percent off grills
Up to 45 percent off patio furniture
Up to $2,000 off outdoor power equipment

Yep, you've got a ton of options, but I took the liberty of bringing you the top deals on items you'll wish you had bought sooner. (No, seriously, buyers can't stop raving about these grills, patio sets and more, so go on and jump in!)

You can't shop The Home Depot's 4th of July sale without snagging a new grill. While many best-selling models are up for grabs, none of them will get the job done quite like this Weber Spirit II E-310 gas grill. It is on sale for $519 (was $569) right now, and at 44.5 inches tall, 52 inches wide and 27 inches deep, its open-cart design will provide all the room you need to prep and grill food without ever stepping foot in the kitchen. One (out of 11,000) 5-star reviewers said it's the perfect size, very sturdy, heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. In other words, it's worth every penny, especially if you plan on hosting a cookout for the 4th of July.

Prefer to spend less than $200? You should know that there's a deal on the must-have Nexgrill 4-burner propane gas grill. The polished stainless steel and porcelain-coated masterpiece usually costs $249, but you can snag it for just $199 RN. And I highly suggest you do because the brand says each of the burners produces 10,000 BTUs of heat, which means you'll get your grilling done in no time. Don't believe me? Just take it from one buyer who raves, "I love how fast it heats up, and reaching 600 degrees or more is no problem. The first thing I cooked was bone-in pork chops, and they looked like something from a magazine, [they] were perfectly cooked." You can also scoop up a top-rated Royal Gourmet charcoal grill for $109 (was $130) which comes complete with an offset smoker. The possibilities are endless!

Dying to update your yard this season? You're in luck. The Home Depot's 4th of July Sale has some of the most impressive offers on outdoor sectionals, umbrellas and more. I scoured all the deals and found mega-discounts on items like this Hampton Bay Beachside 3-piece patio bistro set (was $499, now $199), which is at the top of everyone's wish list. One buyer raves about the rust-resistant steel framed pieces, "[They're] very easy to assemble, everything is very sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap. [And they're] water-resistant, thank goodness! My son dropped orange Gatorade, and the towel I used to clean it soaked it right up instead of settling into the cushion, so [there was] no damage whatsoever."

Other can't-miss patio furniture deals include the up to 60 percent discount on the Hampton Bay Cambridge Brown wicker patio loveseat (was from $489, now from $196), which is said to be as soft and comfy as it looks, plus the 9-foot Pure Garden outdoor patio umbrella (was from $47, now from $36). Featuring an easy-to-use crank lift and a sturdy steel pole, this umbrella can't be beaten for the price. Because did I mention that it has a 9-foot diameter to shade up to six people from the sun?

Now that summer is here, I can't think of a better time to secure some outdoor power equipment—like this RYOBI 40V HP cordless lawn mower. The backyard must-have is currently going for $499 (was $599), and I'll just say it's the key the keeping your grass looking healthy and manicured all year round. But you don't just have to take my word for it. One reviewer raves, "I am happy with it. No gas or oil maintenance, and can cut all my patio in one charge." Boom.

In the market for a handheld blower? If you answered yes, you'll add Milwaukee's popular cordless model (was $199, now $129) to your cart without hesitation. With more than 9,000 5-star reviews, it's safe to say it's a hit with buyers who want strong power to clean off leaves from their front porches and snow off their cars. You also can't go wrong with the RYOBI Whisper Series cordless leaf blower with a 4.6-star rating—after all, it's on sale for $299 (was $329).
