To say that my sleeping habits have done a 180 since incorporating the Rest Evercool Cooling Comforter ($229; $179) into my bedroom would be a dramatic understatement. I am a scorching sleeper. I'm talking waking up with night sweats, getting tangled up in damp top sheets and having major issues regulating my internal temperature. So when I had the chance to try out this magical comforter almost a year ago, I didn't hesitate. And it just so happens that this work of silky smooth and moisture-wicking art is also the favorite of the one and only Drew Barrymore who recently partnered with the brand as its official Sleep Wellness Advocate. Plus, Rest is running an early Black Friday sale (!!) so you can save $50 on your new Evercool.

The partnership is such a natural collaboration for Barrymore who is known to be incredibly cuddly with guests on her talk show, often pulling them into hugs and snuggles. “I absolutely LOVE getting into bed with my Rest Evercool Cooling Comforter, and I am thrilled to be teaming up with Rest as their Sleep Wellness Advocate,” says Barrymore. “As a hot sleeper, the Evercool bedding has genuinely improved my life. My Evercool comforter, sheets and pillowcase are cool to the touch, beyond soft and extremely comfortable. It’s a must-have for anyone who experiences night sweats, but honestly, I recommend it for everyone – even my kids and pets are obsessed!  I believe that Rest is a brand that can truly help transform sleep for the better. We all deserve a good rest!”

When I finally topped the Evercool comforter on my own bed almost a year ago, I was surprised by how cozy and cushiony the material was while also retaining some much needed cool-to-the-touch temps. Because the comforter is super absorbent and quick-drying, if I ever wake up sweating, it's not long before I'm able to fall back sleep. Per the brand, the fabric absorbs and transfers heat 10-times faster than cotton. It's constructed with a technique that mimics silk (hence it's slight satiny feel) and its ultra-thin fibers make for a non-stick sleeping environment so you can "rest" with ease.

It holds up really well in the washing machine and dryer, still retaining its buttery feeling despite being cleaned numerous times over the last eight months. I truly dread the moment I have to wash it though because it's on my bed 99 percent of the time and I have no plans to remove it any time soon. It's become a staple in my room and one that's beloved by me and—to my surprise—my cold-extremitied house-guests who are prone to chills (layered with extra blankets of course!).

Pair the comforter with any of the other Evercool products, like pillowcases and sheets, for a perfectly temperate night. It's hypoallergenic as well as durable and stretchy to prevent snags and tears by rowdy pets, but Rest also offers a one-year warranty just in case you might need a replacement. It comes in six different colors, like Aqua Blue and Lavender Breeze or neutrals like Arctic White and Snow Ivory, some of which are reversible so you can effortlessly switch up the look of your room. Wrap yourself up in this snuggly delight this winter. I promise you won't regret it.
