As mentioned above, this guy is designed to be fueled with bio ethanol, so it produces a nearly smokeless burn. That means that you won’t have to worry about hacking up a lung when you’re roasting marshmallows with the kids this summer. Plus, despite its compact 14-inch length, it has a hefty heat output that can warm a 250-square-foot room in minutes. The best part? It lasts up to 45 minutes and has a guard that protects from heavy wind blowing the flame out.

“It’s easy to set up—I used [the recommended bio ethanol] fuel to ignite the fire and it worked well. I also brought it outdoors during a VERY windy evening and the fire continued to burn. Lasted about 45 minutes,” one reviewer reports. Add to that the fact that it can be used indoors and outdoors—and the glass panels are removable (aka easy to clean). “It’s small, lightweight, highly portable and sets off a nice flame … I use it inside the living room [during winter] and take it out on the patio during summer. You can even add stones like you would with a larger fire pit,” another reviewer adds.
