Whichever team you’re rooting for come this year’s Super Bowl party, one thing’s for sure: You’ll need plenty of appetizers to snack on while you watch the big game. Since you’re way too stellar a hostess to just serve store-bought guac and chips, upstage the football game with any of these 70 Super Bowl snacks. From nachos to wings to party dips, I made sure they’re easy to pull off. (I also included plenty of plant-based recipes, like Buffalo cauliflower, vegan chili cheese dip and roasted cauliflower sliders.) Might I suggest serving them with one of these tasty beer cocktails?

50 Mini Super Bowl Snacks Everyone Will Crave

1. Mini Nachos

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, kid-friendly, beginner-friendly, sheet pan recipe
  • Serves: 6 people

Aww, these are almost too cute to eat. (Almost.) Shred a store-bought rotisserie chicken instead of cooking your own to save time.

2. Carrot Pigs in a Blanket

  • Time Commitment: 50 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, <10 ingredients, vegetarian, kid-friendly
  • Serves: 20 people

Aren't these just adorable? Your kids won't even miss the hot dogs once they get to dipping. While carrot dogs taste sweeter than traditional franks, there’s a pseudo-snap to them that’s oh so satisfying, food editor Taryn Pire says. (If your crew won't go for green goddess dip, sub honey mustard.)

3. Crispy Roasted Artichokes

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour
  • Why I Love It: make ahead, <10 ingredients, crowd-pleaser
  • Serves: 6 people

Want to save some time? Use canned artichoke hearts instead of fresh on game day. You’ll cut down on prep work, but the end result will be just as tangy and satisfying. Promise.

4. Prosciutto Bites

  • Time Commitment: 45 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, beginner-friendly, <10 ingredients
  • Serves: 6-8 people

They're bite-sized balls of store-bought pizza dough wrapped in prosciutto and coated in Parmesan, kind of like a reverse pig in a blanket.

5. Baked Mac and Cheese Bites

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, kid-friendly, vegetarian, make ahead
  • Serves: 24 people

A word to the wise: Make two batches. The kids at your Super Bowl party will devour the first in mere minutes. And while you’re at it, maintain a strong condiment game: “A drizzle of hot sauce, ranch or combo of the two really takes this to the next level,” says Candace Davison, recipe tester and PureWow VP of editorial content.

6. Ina Garten’s Chipotle Cheddar Crackers

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, make ahead, kid-friendly, <10 ingredients
  • Serves: 12-14 people

You're only six ingredients away from the easiest Barefoot Contessa-approved app of your life, courtesy of her 13th cookbook, Go-To Dinners. “One of my go-to tricks is to keep some dough for slice-and-bake crackers in the freezer that I can throw in the oven when people are coming for drinks,” Garten writes. “The sharp Vermont Cheddar and spicy chipotle chili powder with crunchy sea salt really wake up everyone’s taste buds.” Consider this an easy snack you can prep in advance, then slice and bake before the game.

7. Everything Bagel Pigs in a Blanket with Cheater’s Aioli

  • Time Commitment: 35 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, beginner-friendly, kid-friendly
  • Serves: 8-10 people

“They’re just as easy to make as the original, but with a special ‘pretzel’ treatment that gives a gorgeously golden brown crust, and a sprinkle of everything seasoning,” says former senior food editor Katherin Gillen of her recipe for this beloved finger food. Store-bought crescent dough makes these cuties easy enough for newbies to nail. (Oh, and you'll want to put the lemony aioli on everything.)

8. Ritz Crackers with Whipped Honey Ricotta and Bacon

  • Time Commitment: 15 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <30 minutes, <10 ingredients, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 1-2 people

Cheese and crackers are a classic pairing, but the bacon is the star of the show here. When it comes to preparing it, Pire recommends “starting with a cold pan [to help] the strips cook evenly [and to] slowly render out their fat. (The more fat that’s cooked out, the crispier the final product.)” Another pro tip: “You can pseudo-candy the bacon by whisking a bit of maple syrup and brown sugar together in a small bowl and drizzling or brushing it over the strips while they cook, once at the start and again after you first flip them,” writes Pire.

9. Loaded Baked Potato Chips

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 5 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, kid-friendly, sheet pan recipe
  • Serves: 6-8 people

The important part of a loaded spud is all the toppings, not the baked potato itself. This way, you can satisfy your craving without filling up too much.

10. Dill Pickle Snack Mix

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 10 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, make ahead, kid-friendly
  • Serves: 12 people

In case you haven't noticed, pickles are having a major moment. That means your guests will be doubly psyched to nosh on this cheesy, briny snack mix, complete with vinegar and dried dill. Not a pro at pickling? “The key to getting that mouth-puckering flavor lies with vinegar. While a tablespoon of the regular distilled stuff will do the trick, you can also go all out and buy vinegar powder online. It’s not strictly necessary, but it certainly adds a punch,” writes Gillen.

11. Vegan Chili ‘Cheese’ Dip

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, vegan, dairy free
  • Serves: 6-8 people

A game day classic, minus the meat and dairy of the original. Cashews and vegan chorizo make for an uncanny vegan dupe.

12. Roasted Cauliflower Sliders

  • Time Commitment: 50 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, vegetarian, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 12 people

Game day sliders are usually filled with burgers, pulled pork and the like. But once you taste our roasted cauliflower version, you won't miss the meat.

13. Skillet Chicken Fajitas

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour
  • Why I Love It: one pan, high protein, special occasion-worthy
  • Serves: 4 people

My love for my cast iron skillet runs deep. I make pizza in it. I make cookies in it. And now, I make these chicken fajitas in it.

14. Mozzarella Bites

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, crowd-pleaser, vegetarian
  • Serves: 6-8 people

I traded traditional sticks of cheese for mini bocconcini, or pearl mozzarella. The results are downright adorable.

15. Mini Quesadillas

  • Time Commitment: 40 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, vegetarian, kid-friendly
  • Serves: 12 people

Who needs tortillas when there are uber crispy wonton wrappers? They're stuffed with refried beans and pepper Jack cheese.

16. Mini Chicken and Waffles

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, special occasion-worthy, kid-friendly
  • Serves: 12 people

This might go without saying, but I would set out sides of hot sauce and maple syrup for dipping and drizzling.

17. Spicy Glazed Popcorn Chicken

  • Time Commitment: 40 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, high protein, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 6 people

At a Super Bowl party, there's no such thing as too much bite-sized chicken. Glaze the chicken right before serving so it's still crispy when your guests get to it.

18. Pimento Cheese-Stuffed Shishito Peppers

  • Time Commitment: 25 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <30 minutes, <10 ingredients, vegetarian
  • Serves: 6-8 people

The classiest poppers to ever grace a Super Bowl spread. Feel free to use jalapeño peppers instead of shishitos if you'd prefer.

19. Baby Blooming Onions

  • Time Commitment: 45 minutes

20. Mexican Street Corn Dip

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: occasion-worthy, crowd-pleaser, vegetarian
  • Serves: 6 people

I’ll try my hardest not to dive in face-first, given that it has all the elote fixings I crave, from crumbled cotija to fresh cilantro.

21. Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Straws

  • Time Commitment: 40 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 10-12 people

Three ingredients and 40 minutes? You can handle that. (Shoutout to you, store-bought puff pastry.)

22. Chicken Parmesan Bites

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, kid-friendly, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 6-8 people

Serving the marinara on the side ensures that the chicken's crispy breading doesn't turn soggy. And, to whip these up in a flash, consider this tip from Davison: “I like to mix the breading in a gallon-size resealable bag, then toss a bunch of pieces of dredged chicken in it and shake ‘em out to bread the nuggets quickly, kind of like what you do with Shake ‘N Bake.”

23. Pull-Apart Bread with Caramelized Onions and Goat Cheese

  • Time Commitment: 3 hours and 10 minutes
  • Why I Love It: make ahead, special occasion-worthy, crowd-pleaser
  • Serves: 6 people

“Each piece of the soft, buttery dough is stuffed with a creamy mixture of caramelized onions, goat cheese and herbs,” recipe developer Erin McDowell tells us. “It’s fantastic for weekends, game days or dinner parties—and it’s best served warm.” (Psst: Sour cream in the dough ensures a moist, tender texture.) Feel free to brag when your Super Bowl crew asks where you bought it.

24. Roasted Poblano and Corn Guacamole

  • Time Commitment: 20 minutes
  • Why I Love It: make ahead, <10 ingredients, <30 minutes, vegan

27. Crispy Baked Chicken Burritos

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, <10 ingredients, make ahead
  • Serves: 8-10 people

Satisfying, but not so filling that you won't be able to enjoy the other apps at the party. Make a few extra burritos for yourself—they'll keep in the freezer for up to a month.

28. Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

  • Time Commitment: 40 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, high protein, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 6-8 people

29. Beef Empanadas

40. The Classiest Cheese Balls in the Universe

59. The Best Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, keto-friendly, low carb, <10 ingredients
  • Serves: 12 people

Game day is incomplete without Buffalo sauce, but that doesn't mean wings are your only option. This dip is oozing with three types of cheese. Oh, and if you’re running a little behind schedule, follow this time saving tip from Holly Nilsson, the food blogger behind Spend with Pennies: “Melt all of the ingredients except chicken and topping in an ovenproof skillet and heat on low while stirring. Once heated through, stir in the chicken, top with cheese, and broil until bubbly.” Easy peasy.

60. Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip

  • Time Commitment: 40 minutes
  • Why I Love It: gluten free, vegetarian, low carb, crowd-pleaser

When it comes to Super Bowl appetizers, spinach dip is that b**** for a reason. It's creamy, cheesy and rich with briny artichoke hearts. When it comes to serving, “Sliced crusty bread is our favorite thing to serve with artichoke dip. Carrots, potato chips, tortilla chips, warm pita bread, and pita chips are also good,” write the food bloggers at The Modern Proper. (Though I could probably just eat it by the spoonful.)

61. Guacamole Shrimp Wonton Cups

  • Time Commitment: 35 minutes
  • Why I Love It: kid-friendly, beginner-friendly, <10 ingredients
  • Serves: 24 people

These have cold shrimp and cocktail sauce beat by a mile. Store-bought wonton wrappers make assembly a cinch and “you can even bake the wonton cups ahead of time, and if you’re really short on time, you can also use store-bought guacamole,” writes Chungah Rhee of Damn Delicious.

62. Crispy Parmesan Tomato Chips

  • Time Commitment: 5 hours
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, crowd-pleaser, gluten free, vegetarian
  • Serves: 6 people

Potato chips? Good one. If you have a dehydrator, these tomato chips will take about a day to dry out. You can also bake them in your oven for about 5 hours instead. It’s well worth the effort, though. “These tomato chips are kind of like sun-dried tomatoes in flavor, bold delicious flavors, but crispier,” writes Brenda Bennett of Sugar Free Mom, adding that “[she] wanted pizza-flavored chips [and so] used a perfect amount of Parmesan and Italian seasonings on every.single.chip.” I can get on board with that.

63. Dark Chocolate Popcorn Party Mix with Rosemary Sea Salt

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, make ahead, crowd-pleaser
  • Serves: 4 people

A special treat for after you've eaten your way through the savory Super Bowl spread. “You could even take some ice cream out of the freezer and serve it with this popcorn,” writes recipe developer Jodi Moreno. (She also suggests sealing the popcorn in pretty mason jars to give as party favors, which sounds like a good way to make new forever friends.)

64. Mediterranean Feta Cheese Dip

  • Time Commitment: 5 minutes
  • Why I Love It: no cook, vegetarian, <30 minutes
  • Serves: 6 people

If you can find it, use block feta in brine instead of pre-crumbled. Pair the dip with toasted pita points and white wine. Pro tip from Suzy at The Mediterranean Dish: “to make it easier to mix, add softened cream cheese (or labneh) and a drizzle of good extra virgin olive oil.” Roger that.

65. Caesar Salad Wonton Cups

  • Time Commitment: 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 12 people

I know what you're thinking: Salad? For the Super Bowl? When it's wrapped in a crispy baked wonton wrapper, I’m inclined to say yes. “Plus, another big benefit of this recipe is that you can prepare all the elements in advance—including the wonton cups which stay crispy for days in an airtight container,” writes Nagi Maehashi of RecipeTin Eats.

66. Crispy Buffalo-Cheddar Potato Nachos

  • Time Commitment: 40 minutes
  • Why I Love It: special occasion-worthy, beginner-friendly, vegetarian
  • Serves: 4 people

Behold: the holy grail of Super Bowl snacks. And the chip is as tasty as the topping. Tieghan Gerard at Half Baked Harvest writes that “instead of tortilla chips, [she] used thinly sliced potatoes,” adding that, “[it] may seem weird, but I promise it’s the best thing ever.” I have to say that I agree.

67. Parmesan Brussels Sprouts Crostini

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • Why I Love It: crowd-pleaser, beginner-friendly, vegetarian
  • Serves: 15 people

How do these veggie-rich bites taste so darn flavorful, you ask? Allow recipe developer Jessica Merchant to explain: “I sautéed some finely chopped brussels in olive oil with salt, pepper and nutmeg, then tossed in a bit of cheese since I obviously can’t do much without that ingredient. The soft and golden green stuff is layered on top of a toasted baguette slice that is spread with—get this—caramel and buttery roasted garlic.” Four whole heads of roasted garlic, to be precise. Yum.

68. Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

  • Time Commitment: 25 minutes
  • Why I Love It: kid-friendly, <30 minutes, <10 ingredients

You could order a few pizzas...or you could make these instead. All it takes is a few tortillas, toppings and a muffin tin to pull off these game day cuties.

69. Beer-Battered Cheese Curds

  • Time Commitment: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Why I Love It: <10 ingredients, vegetarian, beginner-friendly
  • Serves: 6 to 8 people

“While fresh cheese curds are fantastic all on their own, there is just something special and nostalgic about piping hot cheese. fried golden brown that you can pop in your mouth,” writes the celebrated food blogger behind The Creative Bite. And I am inclined to agree…I mean, how can you go wrong with a plate of these melty nuggets? The trick is freezing the cheese curds before battering so they hold up when fried.

70. Slow Cooker Barbecue Pulled Pork Sliders and Pineapple Slaw

  • Time Commitment: 10 hours and 10 minutes
  • Why I Love It: slow cooker recipe, crowd-pleaser, high protein
  • Serves: 10 people

Let's kick February off with a bite of summer, shall we? The coleslaw is equal parts bright, crunchy and refreshing.
