Dairy Queen Is Releasing a New Blizzard (and a Blizzard Cake) for Valentine’s Day

Before you fuss over making lava cakes, chocolate-covered strawberries and red velvet whoopie pies to impress your boo on Valentine’s Day, consider this. Dairy Queen just launched two new treats in honor of the most romantic holiday of the year, because nothing puts us in the mood like ice cream. Read on for details.

The 73 Best Valentine’s Day Desserts You’ll Swoon Over

Starting January 30, Dairy Queen locations across the country will be slinging a new Blizzard and a Blizzard cake that are sure to woo your S.O. Here’s everything we know about the treats:

The Triple Truffle Blizzard Treat delivers all the flavor of a box of chocolates for a fraction of the price. Think three types of truffles—filled with salty peanut butter, gooey fudge and silky caramel—and chocolate topping, blended to frosty perfection with your choice of soft serve.

If you’re double dating on V-Day, the Triple Truffle Blizzard Cupid Cake is the pick for you. The heart-shaped delight is made with layers of the Triple Truffle Blizzard Treat, peanut butter-, fudge- and caramel-filled truffles, chocolate topping and your choice of soft serve. This crowd-pleaser serves up to four people.

With one of these store-bought treats on your side, all you’ll need to do is pick a bottle of wine to wash them down with and call it a night. (Well, you could spring for flowers too, if you’re feeling generous…and maybe a home-cooked meal.)

There’s no known end date for these limited-time desserts, so we’d hit your local Dairy Queen ahead of the 14th to indulge while you still can.
