Meet @stefcorgel, @torrsim and @remykam. Three trainers turned influencers I loyally follow, and Vuori is all they wear. As collaborators and ambassadors for the clothing brand founded in Encinitas, CA in 2013, you might think the answer is obvious. But the optimist in me believed there had to be something more. Their ravings about fit and style as well as the softness and support soon wore me down. A simple, heather gray workout set suddenly became the chicest thing I’d ever seen. I had to get my hands on it and see what all the hype was about (ya know, in the name of research). Spoiler alert: It did not disappoint.
Each piece delivered on both comfort and functionality, and the trademark softness was a standout feature. The shorts and leggings felt smooth and secure, not synthetic or slippery like so many others I’ve tried. They were light and stretchy yet supportive and durable, maintaining the shape and texture after multiple sweaty treadmill runs (and even keeping me warm as I braved the first chilly day of fall). The bra was surprisingly supportive, and the shirts refreshingly unfussy. I wish I had ordered a size down in the joggers, but for the most part, everything fit true to size—which is hardly a guarantee when ordering online. Even the neutral color palettes began to grow on me, silently mocking the pastel patterns of tank tops and bike shorts past. As a hopeful consumer, I was pleasantly surprised. That’s when it hit me…
